Bern
The innovation promotion agency Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI) supports R & D projects, KTT, entrepreneurship and the development of start-up companies. CTI helps optimize knowledge and technology transfer through the use of networks, mentors and platforms. Support is generally available for R & D projects relating to scientific innovations in all disciplines. The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is the most important Swiss agency promoting scientific research. As mandated by the Swiss Federal Government, SNSF supports all basic research in all scientific disciplines, from philosophy and biology to the nanosciences and medicine.
