On 11th of November the Private University of Liechtenstein starts a new postgraduate course in Medical Law: Law of Human Research, Pharmaceuticals and Genomics under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Claudia Seitz (University Gent).

This postgraduate course is aimed at lawyers with a degree in law who wish to specialise in life sciences law or further deepen their knowledge in this area as graduates of medicine, pharmacy, biology, bioinformatics with legal knowledges.

Participants are offered profound and up-to-date knowledge and gain insights in ongoing discussions on practical and scientific topics relating to specifically selected developments and unresolved legal issues.

Emphasis is placed on the legal systems in German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein). The course also covers the requirements and influences of EU and international law.
