We are looking for a Chief Scientific Officer (m/f/d)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland – Start: Q1/2023

At cellvie, we are developing mitochondria as a novel therapeutic modality. Based on augmentation and replacement, an approach conceived by cellvie’s co-founder at Harvard Medical School, we are building a medicinal platform. cellvie is a venture-backed start-up with primary activities in Zürich and in Boston.

As we embark on raising our Series A and to scale up our activities, we are looking for a leader in the field of biotechnology to join the company’s management, enable and guide cellvie’s scientists, and to oversee the translation of our technology from bench to bed. The ideal fit has a scientific background along with a track-record in bringing medical innovation from the preclinic to the patient.

Who we are seeking:

We are looking for a scientifically driven, ever curious and highly self-motivated individual with at least 10 years of industry-experience. The ideal candidate has held leadership positions in the scientific team of a start-up or a small company having already overseen the development of a biological product from the early pre-clinic towards market. Experience in cell and gene therapy or an alternative biological treatment modality is a must-have.
