Clinical Operations Leader

CDR-Life is a young and innovative biotech company based in Schlieren, Zurich where we develop novel immunotherapies against cancer based on our unique tumor-targeting technology. It is a dynamic mission-driven company with a highly collaborative approach. The Clinical Team is overseeing all clinical development activities that are key for evaluating efficacy and safety of our novel therapies in patients. To support this team, we are looking for an experienced:

Clinical Operations Leader
Leading all clinical trial activities in early immuno-oncology development

The Clinical Operations Leader is responsible for all aspects of clinical trial preparation, startup, execution, and closeout. This person will lead the clinical trial team and the trial CROs as well as be the key coordinator of all operational aspects of the designated clinical trials with support from the Chief Medical Officer.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical trials

• Coordinate the preparation of trial-related documents (eg. Clinical study protocol, investigator brochure, monitoring plan)
• Lead site selection and investigator meetings in collaboration with Medical Lead
• Lead the conduct of the designated clinical trials
• Support the reporting of the clinical trial results
• Update internal stakeholders on progress
• Manage the trial budget in alignment with the finance function

CRO management

• Manage the selection of trial CROs (eg. project management, data management, monitoring, statistics)
• Ensure CRO contracting including scope of work
• Manage trial CROs

Qualifications

• Scientific degree (MSc, PhD, MD)
• Proven track record of successful management of clinical trials including startup
• Experience with oncology clinical development
• Good communication skills
• Strong team player with desire to contribute in a highly dynamic, professional, and growing biotech team
• Includes travel on planed and short-term notices
