The Swiss Economic Award is the most important prize for young entrepreneurs in Switzerland. Since 1999, the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) has each year awarded prizes for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements in the categories “Services”, “High-tech / Biotech” and “Production / Trade & Industry”. The jury, headed by Monika Ribar, honours companies with innovative strength, creativity and great future potential. Participation is limited to Swiss companies founded after 1 January 2013.

With the SQS certified Swiss Economic Award, the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) and its award partners PwC, Swisscom and UBS seek to promote entrepreneurship and encourage new business talent in Switzerland.

The winners of the Swiss Economic Award benefit from a unique package. In addition to the prize money of CHF 25,000 each, the winners will receive expert feedback, valuable media exposure, access to the unique SEF network and simplified inclusion in the growth initiative SEF4KMU.

The experts in the jury and the audience will select the nine finalists, who will present their companies to 1,350 Swiss business leaders at SEF.2019 in Interlaken on 23/24 May 2019.
