The Global Village, spearheaded by the Swiss Biotech Association, serves as a premier platform to foster international collaboration and networking within the biotech and life sciences industries. In partnership with leading Swiss organizations, it offers a continuous, year-round gateway for global biotech clusters to forge and deepen strategic, long-term partnerships within Switzerland’s thriving biotech ecosystem.

Since its inception in 2022, the Global Village has attracted delegations from all over the world, reflecting its success in advancing global biotech collaboration. In 2025, we hosted 25 regional and national delegations from across North and South America, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Building high-impact delegations

A well-composed delegation ensures greater visibility, meaningful connections, and long-term impact. Delegations should include individuals who have existing ties to Switzerland or a strong interest in connecting with its biotech ecosystem.

Ideal delegations include key decision-makers:

  • C-level biotech executives
  • Biotech investors and venture builders
  • Leaders from translational research (e.g. university hospitals, clinical investigators)
  • Universities and private research institutes
  • Incubators, accelerators, and talent hubs
  • Government and regulatory bodies with a vested interest
