The people's lab: leadership development for scientific leaders

Workshops/trainings: leadership journey for people leaders in scientific environments

The Leadership Shift

Your expertise got you here. What is asked of you now is broader.

The role is no longer only about knowing the science or delivering through your own work. It is also about making decisions through uncertainty, aligning people around direction and creating the conditions for others to succeed.

This programme is for leaders who want to step into that broader role in a way that feels practical, grounded and real.

What you will be able to do after the journey

  • Lead with more confidence, clarity, and leadership presence
  • Enable ownership in others instead of carrying the work yourself
  • Build high-trust teams where candor and accountability coexist
  • Make decisions and communicate direction when the data is incomplete
  • Navigate tension and complexity with more intention and less reactivity
  • Align cross-functional partners through a shared leadership language

Dr Melanie Rolli will join the program as a Guest Lecture providing first-hand insights into her career from scientist to CEO and Board Member. She brings a rare combination of physician-scientist expertise, board governance, strategic leadership and operational
execution across small, midsize and large pharmaceutical organizations
