You will be part of a multidisciplinary collaboration with the goal of developing innovative products with the competence to implement process design/bioprocess development for bacterial and cell culture systems. You will also operate automation platforms, which are the core of our products (Lucullus PIMS). You must feel comfortable working productively and thrive in highly collaborative and agile teamwork.
YOUR PROFILE
- You have an academic engineering degree in bioprocess technology (MSc or equivalent) specialized in fermentation and process design of cell- and bacteria cultures, or with a similar focus. Demonstrable 2-3 years of experience as a biotechnologist in bioprocess engineering and/or a PhD in this field would be highly advantageous.
- You have experience as an individual contributor working in multidisciplinary projects with bioprocess monitoring, control, automation projects, qualification, and optimization of innovative systems. Knowledge of Lucullus PIMS would be advantageous.
- You are enthusiastic about understanding and demonstrating complex systemic interrelationships, while you are a very independent, solution-oriented, analytical team player with initiative, and you bring effective communication skills.
- You have hands-on experience in qualification and optimization during the development phases of new products, in performing all tasks related to upstream processes, including results evaluation, documentation, and reporting.
- You have experience in planning and execution of experiments based on the previously created experimental design (DOE), the different analytical methods used in this context, and can code in Python and MATLAB.
- You communicate effectively in German and English
