Our software engineers develop next-generation technologies that change how biopharma digitizes and automates bioprocess development to fulfill its purpose and bring highly demanded new medications to patients. We constantly develop products to handle different kinds of information from innumerable sources within highly complex and constantly evolving environments.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring software quality by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions. You will work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle and to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient testing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for system, integration, and regression testing
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for desktop, embedded, and backend components
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
  • Analyze test results, investigate failures, and report defects with clear and actionable feedback
  • Collaborate closely with software developers, product owners, and QA colleagues
  • Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
  • Continuously improve test coverage, test reliability, and testing efficiency
  • Support manual testing activities where automation is not feasible or meaningful

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Solid experience in software test automation (ca. 3+ years)
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or comparable)
  • Experience in designing maintainable and scalable test automation solutions
  • Good understanding of software development processes and CI/CD concepts
  • General experience in testing embedded systems is a plus
  • Critical thinker with good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Work experience in regulated environments is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently with a structured and goal-oriented approach
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoy collaborating efficiently and communicating well within international and intercultural settings
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in Switzerland. Please indicate your current work authorization status
  • Proficient in English, fluency in German is welcome
