BioAlps Networking Day

This not-to-be-missed event will be bringing together the major players in the field: researchers, industrialists, start-ups, investors and public authorities.

The BioAlps Networking Day offers a captivating programme, tackling sustainability issues (linked to health and nutrition) in biotech, pharma and foodtech. Over 300 participants are expected to join  to explore possible synergies in the fields of biotechnology and sustainable nutrition.

MORNING: FRIBOURG LIFE SCIENCES ECOSYSTEM

·      Presentation of innovation support organisations in the canton of Fribourg (universities, research centres, entrepreneurship support organisations, funding tools, etc.)

·      Presentation of the study on the impact of life sciences on the Fribourg economy, carried out by BAK Economics.

·      Visit to the ChemTech Institute, for a close-up look at the innovation infrastructure.

AFTERNOON: SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION

·      Sustainable biotechnology and pharmaceuticals session: a focus on new technologies and governance for greener processes.

·      Food and nutrition session: discover innovations in the sustainable manufacture of food and nutrients.

·      Start-up pitches: young companies will be presenting their innovations with high impact potential.

·      BioAlps Awards: recognition for outstanding industry and academic research projects.

ALL DAY LONG

·      Exhibition area bringing together a wide range of players from the Swiss Health Valley.

·      BioAlps application to facilitate connections with participants and exchanges in real time.

·      Buffets and networking opportunities, for enriching discussions in a convivial atmosphere.
