Macrogen Europe strengthens European presence with new facility in Basel

Macrogen Europe's new location in Switzerland is ready to connect with the Swiss biotech community and to expand access to their NGS and Sanger sequencing services across Switzerland and Europe.

Macrogen Europe, a leading provider of genomic solutions and a subsidiary of Macrogen Inc., opened its new operations at the Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area, located on the Novartis Campus.

Building on the foundation laid in 2023, this marks a new chapter in Macrogen's journey to expand their genomic research and sequencing capabilities across Switzerland and Europe. The new Basel location positions the company right in the heart of one of the most vibrant life sciences hubs, offering great opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

As new member of the Swiss Biotech Association, Macrogen Europe is eager to connect with the Swiss biotech community and to meet researchers, partners, and innovators who share the passion for advancing genomics and life sciences.. In 2026, the company plans a series of initiatives, including local visits and events, along with participation in the Swiss Biotech Day.
