Santersus SA (Switzerland), a privately held selective plasmapheresis start-up company, is pleased to announce the start of a Pilot Preclinical Study I on large animal (porcine) sepsis models at Uppsala University (Sweden).
“We are very excited to initiate our Pilot Study program in co-operation with Uppsala University” said Dr. Andrew Aswani, the Medical Director of Santersus SA. “The blinded randomized study will be conducted to investigate the efficacy and safety of Nucleocapture column in vivo in a clinically relevant large animal (porcine) intensive care sepsis models.” added Dr. Aswani.
