Versameb raises CHF 5.3 million for the development of mRNA therapies in regenerative medicine

Versameb Ltd, a Swiss biopharmaceutical company, announced the successful closing of a Seed financing round on December 24, 2018, bringing the total capital raised to date to CHF 5.3 million. Versameb Ltd is developing a technology platform for transformative therapies, focusing on regenerative medicine through the local application of messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA).

He added: “Thanks to our team, we were able to kick-start our operations rapidly and create substantial value in a short period of time. The proceeds will fund the extension of the platform technology, starting of pre-IND activities with the lead program and preclinical activities for additional regenerative medicine indications, and will secure the company’s corporate needs for organizational growth.
